i installed xrite's colorchecker passport system , created dng test profile.  created 1 image in test directory , applied generated profile image.  successful.   subsequently, opened 2 other directories 600 cr2 raw images each select images editing. various images "generally" adjusted in acr.   after test of dng profile, in both cases, bridge chose rebuild thumbnails , assigned colour temperature of 12500k -0.35 exposure adjustement  (which similar values determined in dgn profile test) images , recorded information in xmp files.  cr2 raw images not adjusted had edited in acr extensively , used ps5 , had associated psd file.   when bridge choose rebuild thumbs?  seems me that, once master , directory cache generated, time thumbs should regenerated when raw file modified in acr (via xmp file) or when psd or jpg edited.  changing attribute in acr should not cause general thumb rebuilds - should effect single edited file(s).   i reluctant @ other directories fear of same sit
