Error accessing edit content - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
fatal error: call undefined method stdclass::ondisplay() in /home/example/public_html/libraries/joomla/html/editor.php on line 261
this happens "new" or "edit" of content. also, logging on in front end not trigger edit icon.
i set new website, installed 1.5.14 no content, installed modules, components, plugins, , templates, , copied database new website.
as far can see, development system , website have same code , content (other database name, , owners). content displays fine on front end.
is there in editor code site-name-related somehow? that's thing can come with... files owned "example" , dirs 755 files 644, don't think it's permissions issue.
any ideas?

solved
in case cares, here's problem turned out be: when copied data new mysql database, put slew of "bak_xxx" tables in it... dunno if mysql did it, or joomla had done it, or what. noticed them, figured new backup scheme , didn't pay attention them. after exhausting other ideas (rogue extensions, ftp errors, etc), looking @ database see if there references editors, , decided zap damned "bak_" tables... et voila! works.
for it's worth...
