hi there,   we've had onging issue crops in indesign.   some time ago having conflict issues leopard versions of helvetica , read best solution purchase new versions 'lt' in name. since doing haven't had issues - until past few months (can't remeber when first cropped sorry)   the issue have if 1 machine creates job contains either of these 2 'lt' fonts, indesign on other 2 machines think fonts missing. if font replaced on 1 of these other machines, other 2 think font missing when files opened - hope making sense.   we have 3x 10.5.8 machines running indesign cs4 6.0.5 , have helvetica lt , helvetica neue lt installed.   any appreciated.   cheers More discussions in InDesign adobe

i installed ubuntu 8.04 yesterday , while have used few times in past on dual boot system i'm not experienced linux. i'm running athlon xp 2600+ 2 gb of ram , newly installed nvidia geforce 9400 gt pci card (regular pci not pci-e) 1gb vram. when installed ubuntu didnt detect card started looking through various forums , websites figure out how installed. spent day yesterday frustrated , trying card installed , still havent gotten anywhere. before asks, yes bios set pci , not agp card. system hardware driver list says "no proprietary drivers in use on system" heres rundown of did. -downloaded nvidia driver nvidia site, driver card "nvidia-linux-x86-256.44.run" -purged nvidia drivers may loaded on system command sudo apt-get --purge remove nvidia-* -installed driver console , got "error: unable load kernel module 'nvidia.ko'. happens most when kernel module built against wrong or improperly confi

problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!   i spent 9  hours straight on this, stronger "its". have  both cs4 , cs5, work if have cs5 as  well. did not try runnning cs5 installer first after implementing  fix, maybe work too..and when getting cs5 error, i  went re-install cs4 got error why took  steps did. on 7x64 followin   first  run cs5 cleanup tool , reboot.   second,  go c:\program file(x86)\common files\adobe\installers . delete  in it   then go registry  (start, run, type regedit) , expand registry key:  hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\installer\userdata\s-1-5-18\ components  ...(if isnt there, try install again, go folder  deleted files moment ago , extract log from  zip file , open , go end. says error 1402  followed unknown\components\(a bunch of numebers right  here)\(more numbers)  ...   copy numbers  directly after components\ , go registry , click edit  "find" paste numbers box , hit find..when get  key, scroll way components again. right

so update lr3 due , thought time bit of house keeping , make changes long due. have win 7 machine, folder used c:\eigene bilder. in there raw, jpgs , catalog files. moved raws out (i shoot raw) c:\raw , moved catalog files (lr2 , lr3beta) it. changing catalog source did not work. neither did import catalog work - no both did work quite while result in both cases none of photos displayed - grey frame no content whatsoever. see pictures somehow imported because number right, tags per photo there , instance camera , lens tags there in each picture.   appreciate ideas fix catalog again, see pictures small , large again.   best regards hubert it isn't catalogue corrupt...it's monitor profile corrupt. need use hardware calibrator create monitor profile, , all-grey pictures fixed.   as stop-gap measure, can change monitor profile plain srgb one, show images, not in proper colours...for need calibrate screen.   hal More discussions in Lightroom Classic CC adobe

prije nekoliko mjeseci stari provajder je selio na nove servere desio se problem sa karakterima šđčćž, pretvorili su se u ? (upitnik). ja sam pokušavao da riješim problem ispravljenjem tabela postavljanjem collation na utf8_general_ci, međutim ništa nisam uspio odraditi. problem se desio sa samo 3 komponente. kunena forumom, coppermine fotogalerijom coomunity builder komponentom. oni su kobajagi nešto radili napravili znakove za kunena forum, dok sam ja za druge dvije komponente morao sve znakove prepravljati u Š=s, Đ=dj, Č=c... u međuvremenu sam preselio na nove servere. juče sam uzeo da malo popravim kunenin language fajl promjenio par riječi, kada sam uploadovao fajl, vratio se stari problem sa kuneninim karakterima. riješio sam malo da se pozabavim najzad riješim problem sa karakterima. kontaktirao sam provajdera, on je vidjeo da u bazi postoje tabele cija je collation - cp1250_croatian_ci. pitao me da li da mi popravi, ja sam rekao da kao što sam očekivao problem je ostao. sada su

hey all, i created document in adobe indesign cs4, formatted spacing however when tried export digital editions, reason forgets spacing between paragraph (just 1 after another, , no space in between) when export local formatting (to keep fonts, etc...) it  doesn't recognize it, but when "defined styles" it  keeps spacing, forgets else   i dont know why happeneing or how resolve it please help! can please this?   i dont know why not register spaces when exporting epub More discussions in InDesign adobe

hello,   i installed cs5 mac includes acrobat 9.  in indesign cs3, used able generate pdf files using "file>print booklet," now, using acrobat 9, not able that... can me? i have full cs4 installed , trial cs5 installed.  tried printing 4 pages of booklet using print booklet in both cs4 , cs5 , printed 2 out of 4 pages.  menu option still there apparently printing pdf not work desired? i have configured gnome-menu come on right click, , ctrl+right-click nautilus pop-up menu using command code: xte "keydown alt_l" && xte "key f1" && xte "keyup alt_l" in compizconfig, , setting button binding button 3. had install package before this, don't remember 1 though (copy & paste hehehe) works great , looks good, except 1 annoying problem didnt think of. when i'm playing game need right-click perform action, menu pops up. (think starcraft. right click move) i'm asking if there way add exception this? menu come long not clicked on windows? does know way this? is familiar fireworks html character length restriction when importing fireworks html dreamweaver?  importing fireworks image map dreamweaver cs3.  original url consists of 339 characters (oracle database created url) , url gets cut down 255 character once imported dreamweaver. people around here tell using fw write html akin using dw create graphics.  it's bad idea.   anyhow, in time since dw2, have not heard of such restriction.  however, 255 characters meaningful number, , wouldn't surprised.  why not html work in dw? possibly more of feature request question:   in acrobat print dialog, page handling allows auto-rotate , centre.   this option should replaced manual selection page placement , orientation, settings in indesign, illustrator, photoshop . . . come think of it, of rest of adobe's programs.   i'm sure i'm not person on planet doesn't want pdfs printed in middle of sheet. make pdfs polyester plates , need them placed @ head of page, not in middle. yea agree well, have same problem, new feature needed More discussions in Acrobat Windows (read-only) adobe

hi all.   i read issues that  folks having , today decided need share positive  expierence.   i had couple of initial issues most  win 7 / driver related. after got squared away editing  , rendering banshee. can render , surf web @ same  time, check e-mail etc, no issues. surfing , mail take  cycles away render machine has yet crash.today alone rendered 32 minute hd clip 4 times, kept tweaking without reboot, without crash, without anything. projects complex transitions, effect (mostly stabilize, talk cpu eater) , many clips, stills, sound bytes , photoshop titles.   here  system.   i have win 7 64 bit home premium, keep  updated frequently.   i installed pre update when  became available, on 8.01.   cpu - amd  phenom ii  955 quad core - talk banshee.(stock cooler, runs  53c under 98% load while rendering, within spec) mobo - asrock m3a77de video card - msi r4550 hd ati radeon  ati 10.6 driver. rosewell usb2.0 in 1 card reader dvd  - liteon sata 24x internal writer -ihas424-98y memory
