the print shop office purchased new platesetter , didn't want spend +$10k trapping software since of stuff produce single color (the whole machine cost less that). since 95% of stuff work produced in id, figured internal trapping fine two-color work. started playing around see how fared , found 1 problem.   when there small areas of butting color, id seems ignore them , not trap. have 1 two-color logo , there couple of areas id not want trap if logo(built in ai) placed @ small percentage. if enlarge fill page, id traps everything. small area show on press? not, i'm used trapping software worked years in prepress trapping every little area. limitation of ids trapping capabilites? have tried changing trap placement or trap threshold amounts document?   also, if want view traps on screen it's possible via distilled pdfs, might when testing settings. ps setting:   http://www.zenodesign.com/scripts/inrip.png More discussions in InDesign adobe

so, after responses in this thread, decided ditch php python server side coding. mod_python recommended , seems work quite well. but, take @ this article , this post , this one . these claim mod_python dead! , further mod_wsgi should used in place, i've ever heard people recommend mod_python. people commenting on these posts claim there terrible bugs in mod_python, apparently destabilises apache. time switch mod_wsgi? wsgi way go. it's used if not python frameworks , it's quick , easy work with. what's not like? i have client needs indesign cs4 text in ascii format re-purposing. "text only" export option not give true ascii, can't have accented characters or symbols , various other characters (degree sign, instance). can search symbol , fonts , change characters manually before exporting. there way either export rest of text real ascii or search non-ascii characters within indesign? the "text only" export option not give true ascii, can't have accented characters or symbols , various other characters (degree sign, instance). i going post "that's nonsense!" (or more polite version thereof) turns out you're right. cs3 export unicode only. remember more robust text export options in earlier versions (cs?) perhaps memory faulty - text import options more robust.   best can offer off top of head export rtf, , use word save raw text (and you'll forest of export options). hi! i changed place configuration.php because of security reason describted: i moved configuration.php outside of public_html folder "test". i modifyed /includes/defines.php , /administrator/includes/defines.php files constant: define( 'jpath_configuration', jpath_root ); to file 1 level , folder named "test": define( 'jpath_configuration', jpath_root.ds.'..'.ds.'test' ); now changed absolute paths in these both virtuemart files: - /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php - /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg-dist.php e.g. /../../../configuration.php -> /../../../../test/configuration.php but in frontend product thumbnails disappear. what's going wrong? thanks replay! best wishes, alex Board index Joomla!
