i've seen posts similar in ubuntu forums. but, i've never seen give definitive answer on why happens - or when/how fixed. here goes. have two-hard-drive dual-boot system. winxp pro sp3 on secondary drive, ubuntu 10.04 on primary drive. i've noticed weirdness before. time, did 3 test-boots. first, keep in mind i'm in pacific time zone in usa. boot #1 - booted winxp. time on system clock 10:42 pm, august 4th. boot #2 - restarted computer , booted ubuntu. when first screen came up, system timeclock set 3:42 pm, august 4th - 7 hours earlier real time. however, when entered ring password (and after few seconds), system timeclock on screen "jumped" real time - 10:42 pm, august 4th. boot #3 - restarted computer , booted winxp. time on system clock said 5:45 am, august 5th - 7 hours ahead of real time. did test "re-boots" in winxp. long didn't boot ubuntu, time remained correct. once booted ubuntu again, same sc

i have been using encore few weeks , discovered can tweak transcoding settings.  camera avchd camera , can record in 1440 x 1080 @ 29.97 fps , @ 9 mbps vbr.  have highest quality can (see caveat below).  when export media in premiere pro, check "match sequence settings" in media encoder.  way video file 1440x1080.  when import encore , check transcoding settings, there no setting give me 1440 x 1080 output.  setting transcoding should use best quality?  question, must add faster better, if improved quality add small process time, ok.  if however, improved quality adds ten times processing time, reconsider. this in faq area http://forums.adobe.com/thread/421178?tstart=0 More discussions in Encore adobe

hello everyone, i've been using ubuntu 2 months, i'm newbie. have question - installed wine (if helps, of course) (a long time ago) , hdd space (on linux partition, installed through wubi) gone, in unknown direction... mean, have 0 bytes left. when delete something, small or big, eats deleted. os works far good, knows, maybe it'll eat too. might virus? checked nod32 online scanner, , found nothing. want know if it's virus , if works under wine, , should do, since don't want uninstall wine, , want use linux , windows programs on linux. said, eats linux partition, have same amount @ least day on windows pc (started watching today). so, do? , also, question firefox (though not required answer right now) won't hit enter in search bar. mean, won't load google's search go applications>accessories>disk usage analyzer see hdd space has gone. think best program situation.

so have installed boxed verison of pse 8.   i opened organizer , imported pictures (around 750 total).   i select photo right click, select "edit in elements", nothing happens.  not open editor application.  tried double clicking thumbnail; same thing...nothing.   so exit orgainzer.  re-start welcome application (which takes several minutes start),edit not start there either.  going log off , log on see if helps, though not long term solution.   obvously, less enthused beginning.   can offer suggestions?   hp 3.4 ghz 1 gig ram standard integrated intel video. logging off did not help.  restarting did let me editor app.     the program seemed operate supposed to.  able flip , forth organizer editor apps, though deathly slow.   i'll have fiddle more tomorrow see what's up.  i'm thinking 1 gig of ram may not sufficient. こんにちは。 いくつか検索しましたが解決できなかったためスレッドを上げさせていただきました。 万一重複するものがありましたらご誘導して頂けると助かります。   一般的な事務所でwinxp、adobe acrobat reader 9.3を使用しています。 スキャナー（複合機/fujixerox docucentre c2200Ⅱ）から取り込んだpdf画像を 選択ツールで範囲指定→コピーし、ペイントなどの画像編集ソフトにペーストすると、 縦と横の長さが変更されてペーストされてしまいます。   スキャナーでは、 b4の書類を81%（a4のサイズになるように）縮小し、300dpiの解像度で取り込みました。 そうなると、書類のサイズは必然的に幅297mm×高さ210mmになるはずですが、 その書面を丸ごとコピーし、photoshopにペーストしたところ、幅874.89mm、高さ1237.54mmと変わってしまい、 縦横比が逆になるため画像も横長のものが縦長になってしまいます。   この現象が起きるのはスキャンしたpdfファイルのみで、illustratorなどで作成したpdfデータは正常にコピーできました。 以前使っていたバージョンでは起こらなかった現象です。 （前使っていたものはバージョンを忘れてしまったため不明です。すみません）   そのため、acrobat readerの設定か何かに原因があるのかなと 環境設定を覘いてみましたが素人のため下手にいじると悪化しそうでしたので何もいじってません。 現行バージョンをインストールしてからは何もいじってません。   スナップショットツールは正常の縦横比でコピーされますが、 表示画面の大きさになるので逐一拡大するのですがやはり画像が粗くなってしまうので 出来れば選択ツールを使用したいのですが…。   どなたか解決法をご存知の方いらっしゃいますか？ Acrobat Reader /Acrobat DC for Mobileコミュニティフォーラム (Japan) でのその他のディスカッション adobe

hello,   i use ppro cs4 on 64bit vista pc.   for quite awhile have experienced ppro 'loosing' audio @ end of clips. happens audio attached video, , happens mp3's no video. looking @ waveform of audio on timeline shows complete , entacted signal right end of clip/mp3, when played, somewhere near end, sound stops! playing file in other programs proves there no problem file. can re-import clip/mp3, has same problem. i've got around (the cursed workarounds!) opening audio in soundbooth , saving wave , replacing problem audio, frustrating have come expect ppro.   recently have been using encore (cs4), first time really, , mortified find doing same damn thing!! clip 6:38 long dynamically linked ppro project, plays fine in ppro , media players, when dropped encore looses last 45seconds of audio!!! wtf! frustrating, here am. have listen entire project 'prove it' before burning it?!?!   if did clips indicate fault, possibly not ppro, since , not others, same file (if fil

i've refrained asking question on 1 year of adobe use... humor me here!   i've rotobrushed 3 sec clip, separated 4 spans.  made lots of changes original brush-selected edges along way via additional strokes (by strokes mean swipes of green/red rotobrush if correct term).  hit freeze.   now several days later, , having added background, see need fix edges of roto'd item in approximately 10% of frames.  rest of frames roto'd i'd them stay.   when "unfreeze" repropagates everything, eliminating previous work in refining lines.   so best approach go , change rotobrushed edges in select frames, without automatically changing other frames?   (just fyi, refine matte options, etc, inadequate fix edges on frames i'm discussing, changing edges of roto effect necessary).   thanks! export alpha channel, reimport, refine. alternatively, use rendered snippet matte on original , keep refining that.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

jeg har problemer med @ få formularer til @ virke. kan der være noget med, @ flere slags formularer fra flere "firmaer" ikke vil virke sammen? jeg havde lavet nogle almindelige kontaktformularer via joomlas indbyggede system. virkede fint. så lavede jeg en tilmeldingsformular med ckform. den virkede fint, men nu virkede kontaktformularen ikke længere. jeg troede @ det måtte være opdateringen, som var den skyldige. så lavede jeg en ajax kontaktformular, som virker fint. men så virker tilmeldingsformularen ikke længere.... der er ikke nogen hjælpefunktion ved ckform, som måske er synderen. vil jeg, inden jeg dropper denne lige høre om der er nogle her, som ved noget om problemet. f.eks. er der en eller anden grund til @ flere formularer ikke kan virke på samme hjemmeside? eller hva? fandt ud af det. havde ved tidligere lejlighed fået tipset, men kunne ikke få det til @ stemme dengang. men nu har jeg så fundet ud af det: min udbyder vil gerne have, @ man bruger emailadresser

hi   at point in recent past have installed shockwave view web content. after doing have noticed shockwave updater icon in desktop tray. have strong aversion processes run @ startup or generate random prompts downloads decided uninstall shockwave. after uninstall updater process still showing , cannot find information on how remove it.   where software installed (vista x64) , how uninstall it? i have never seen such updater, neither in systray nor anywhere else.   can try find out more it, e.g. name is?   adobe reader installs such updater (adobearm.exe), don't see in tray. hi all,   using tcs 2 on windows 7 64 bit. no issues. bought tcs 2.5 upgrade , i'm trying install (plenty of ram, etc.).  when went install am, far have 2 issues:   1) captivate 5 installed, captivate 4 still in place. why? 2) when try install cs5 says "installer indicates machine restart pending" , can either quit installer (recommended) or ignore , continue. far, i've quit installer b/c don't want crash system   has else installed tcs 2.5? i've been on hold adobe 20 minutes after being told had 4 minute wait time, i'm not terribly hopeful i'm going adobe support...   thanks, adriana More discussions in Technical Communication Suite Installer adobe

hi all   we have been processing id jobs swf using cs5 , it's going okay (much better cs4). problem is, we've been asked same job done in quark. can place pdf pages (with vector text, embedded fonts) id pages , export swf file seems in output text has been rasterised (at least doesn't clean vectors more). higher resolution downsample images to, better text looks. rasterise page option off. i've tried classic flash text plus converting outlines - no change. there way round that?   i noticed changing image resolution affects swf file size - whether choose jpg compression or png makes no difference test file (a page text , colour image). it's not treating pdf normal.   i know i'm pushing not id job god damn it, should work! magic solutions gratefully received.   iain no-one got experience issue?
