hi, have been trying ubuntu installed on macbook pro on week no success. distro: ubuntu 64-bit 10.04 lts hardware: macbook pro 5,4 firmware 1.8 have tried methods find googling. trying single os install, is, ubuntu , no osx. have tried 2 methods: 1. wipe disk, install refit on 200mb partition , install linux on rest of disk. install, boot refit , select linux. grub loads , system hangs @ "uncompression error - system halted". machine boots fine livecd hardware issues not suspect. refit sync fails message saying "analysis inconclusive, not touch disk" 2. wipe disk , install linux on entire disk (sda1 root , sda2 swap). results in same "uncompression error". tried install fedora , got same "uncompression error" after finishing install , rebooting. appreciate pointers or howto has done single os install on mbp? as reference, have tried: http://regebro.wordpress.co

hey guys,          i'm new adobe forums , i'm not sharpest @ adobe premiere have been using years. upgraded camcorder sony hdr-cx110 handycam, format 1920x1080, 30 fps, hd 1080p, mts raw file. i've tried numerous ways of exporting , have uploaded facebook find video become choppy , not smooth, less quality. did find 1 format played excellent file size not bad, big enough allow 10mins video uploaded without flashy effects. i'd problay around 8mins alot of effects. old minidv camcorder export files @ half size isn't hd allowing me 20mins of video. understand hd has bigger file better picture there has way file size smaller same quality. great! thank you. just know...applying effects movie not add eventual size of file once exported.   there no way computer on internet  can stream video if playing camera (for example).   it streamed heavily compressed files.  means quality loss.   so looking "compromise" take trial , error achieve based on known presets wor

hi there,   on sites, have been incoporating more use of .flv players more generic use of .wmv or quicktime video formats.   one question though, possible link video have player just popup on it's own out javascript or other technical features?   i mean, when link .wmv or .m4a video, able popup on own , load video using default players.  however, not possible .flv videos because have loaded specific player, , i've seen, not able load application such windows media player on computer.   ideally, use shadowbox javascript load player within browser, site running in quirks mode option isn't available.   blah. how can expect full version of adobe reader (in .msi form) available download.that current version?  forum, looks reader 9.3.3 having multiple problems. there running joke @ work patching adobe reader more time consuming patching microsoft operating systems. have on 10.000 machines have patched , know of no other software buggy adobe reader, although there several other adobe products seem require lot of patching.. know seems negative, frustrating behind in updates because there many of them , adobe not create rational path patching enterprise environments. give break out here. customer service appreciated. hi sandy,   the latest full adobe reader available download reader 9.3.3 available exe whilst full reader available msi 9.3.0.   the 9.3.0 msi can combined subsequent patches/updates, in form of aip , pushed across network via gpo. patches releases till date 9.3.2, 9.3.3 , 9.3.4. aip creation can accomplished using instructions provided at: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs
