Thread: multiple drdy drq err at boot

hi,

tried installing xubuntu on old desktop. installation completed, computer shutting down there whole load or drdy drq err messages. computer froze. reset , few of these messages before login screen, although can login , shutdown computer again. know what's cause this. i'm using xubuntu 10.04.
