i trying stop playhead within movie clip , when test scene (the movieclip) works when test main timeline scene, stops frame within movie clip continues on main timeline.  on frames stop using script allow continue when space bar pressed. how can stop on main timeline, , within movie clip @ same time?     is way _root.stop(); or something? if want both timelines stop need tell both timelines stop.  using _root.stop(); should sufficient stopping main timeline, , stop(); should work inside movieclip's timeline. hi gang tried few months no luck. waited newest releases. i've spent past 4 days, downloading , burning cds, on 25 of them actually. tried using 3 different brands of usb sticks well. i'm running 8.04 64 bit, tried 10.04 64 bit, gave on , downloaded 32 bit version. same problem. loads purple screen little man @ bottom bar left. crashes! computers (i've tried on 4 different computers too) flat out lock up, screen goes black , way going pull plug , cold boot running again. i've burned dozen 8.04 cd's , every 1 worked fine. , have installed hardy on @ least 15 different computers on past year, maybe more. apparently 10.04 works couple of users! i've used 5 different burners, @ 1x speed , 4x speed , automatic. i've tried brasario, backpack, speedycd, have burn iso option. far have stack of coaster, , 3 usb sticks getting tired of being erased , reloaded bootable stick. i've tried downloadi

hi, i've reported bug, hope has workaround.   metadata entry in lightroom 3 slow (wasn't problem @ in lightroom 2).  when enter field (not fields of them) scrollbar goes down , - second or two.  field selected (tab previous entry) no longer selected. if not careful , wait lightroom it's thing , select field, data entered interpreted lr command (so typing in 'dr', example, go develop/crop).   can (including adobe staff, please) help?  serious problem have great deal of meta data enter.   thanks!! try turning off "automatically write changes xmp"  (under edit menu , metadata tab of catalog settings). feature periodically interferes metadata entry on machine. struggled in version 2 well, although sounds didn't.   see if helps. if does, may want manually write changes out image files, or sidecar, hitting ctrl-s (metadata > save metadata file).
