Thread: What's the trick to get 10.04 to load?????

hi gang

tried few months no luck. waited newest releases.

i've spent past 4 days, downloading , burning cds, on 25 of them actually.
tried using 3 different brands of usb sticks well.

i'm running 8.04 64 bit, tried 10.04 64 bit, gave on , downloaded 32 bit version. same problem.

loads purple screen little man @ bottom bar left. crashes!

computers (i've tried on 4 different computers too) flat out lock up, screen goes black , way going pull plug , cold boot running again.

i've burned dozen 8.04 cd's , every 1 worked fine.
, have installed hardy on @ least 15 different computers on past year, maybe more.

apparently 10.04 works couple of users!

i've used 5 different burners, @ 1x speed , 4x speed , automatic.
i've tried brasario, backpack, speedycd, have burn iso option.

far have stack of coaster, , 3 usb sticks getting tired of being erased , reloaded bootable stick.

i've tried downloading , installing live on-line, didn't work either.

gives guys?????

way, it's 4:30am , have 6:30am bright eyed , bushy tailed, loading ubuntu should not problematic.
second time i've spent on 40 hours attempting 10.04 installed.

don't think it's me since can reload 8.04 onto computers tried loading 10.04 on 0 problems......

when install ubuntu there no purple screen, there black screen man @ bottom, , when press key shows me list of languages , follow instuctions. maybe should try download iso image other computer, or other network.
