i have bcm4312 wireless card, using b43 drivers. works fine, except when bought new buffalo router. set wireless security wpa2, when use laptop connect, options wep 40/128 key, wep 128 bit passphrase, leap , dynamic. no wpa of kind. when go edit wireless settings, can change security wpa2 when try connect again, wireless manager creates wireless profile exact same name security wep. do stubborn wireless manager? perhaps adapter not enable use of wpa of kind. netgear wg511v2 adapter, marvel chip, great wep there no way work wpa @ in ubuntu. it's using ndiswrapper there no linux driver adapter, , @ least works, though prefer wpa. i importing text word document format in indesign. it' 150 pages of book i'll layout. i made mistake when writing book word creating space between every paragraph, want rid of.   is there way automate indesign? there way automatically delete space betwen paragraphs , add indent instead? of course! usual answer find-and-replace ^p ^p^p. ^p represents paragraph break character.   you should not replace indent. instead, should set first-line indent attribute in paragraph panel. or better still, paragraph style. hola amigos, recurro los experimentados y conocedores de ubuntu. el tema es que no tengo claro, cuando salga la versión 10.10, si conviene o no actualizar de versión o continuar con la actualización hasta el 2011 de la 10.04. por un lado, la 10.04 está buena, y al prometer soporte hasta el 2011 eso mantendría mi sistema perfectamente actualizado, con kernel y demás cosas del sisteam. por otro, pasar 10.10 sin dudas sería un paso importante por las mejoras del sistema. el tema es si esas mejoras son "mejores" que las actualizaciones que vendrían en la 10.04. aclaro que siempre instalé desde desde cero cuando salía una versión, pero ahora me queda la duda. bueno, se que es prematuro, pero como ya se está hablando bastante de la 10.10 creo que está bueno ir teniendo una idea, y no solo para mi, sino para muchos amigos de este foro. gracias mi opinión es: qué valorás más, quedarte con la lts (con lo

hey all. i'm aware wubi doesn't install grub. normal windows 7 bootloader comes , given 2 options: windows 7 or ubuntu. here's happened: installed ubuntu 10.04 through wubi on laptop (not desktop has had 10.04 on before). haven't used wubi before, anyway... after installed rebooted , selected ubuntu. ubuntu loaded whatever had in order prepare system , went reboot. after system rebooted selected "ubuntu" again. of course setup ubuntu done didn't go that. instead i'm presented grub menu. options "windows vista" , "windows 7" (vista being recovery install came laptop, , upgraded windows 7). there's 3 partitions (excluding ubuntu if wubi makes partitions): 1. vista recovery 2. windows 7 (~150 gb) 3. media/whatever partition (~150 gb) why's there no ubuntu option there?! don't know how add ubuntu grub sees - because wubi create partition... or how work? should work default. we have whole stack of pdfs cause message come in adobe reader (i'm using 9.3.2). unfortunate thing our clients report problem being unable view our pdfs , causing sorts of confusion when try upgrade adobe reader instead of clicking cancel. create pdfs via acrobat designer , merge fields in jpdffields, has been working fine until last couple of months.         some clients telling adobe brings them plug-in finder page.   could please point me in right direction? have already  submitted few of files pdfharmony report shows no  errors. this doesn't problem of adobe reader. may problem of filled form. hi guys, installed kubuntu 10.04 on macbook santarosa (4.1 version, dual core 2.4 ghz) , seems work (wifi, isight, audio, sound etc.). formatted entire hard disk using ext4 filesystem: /dev/sda1 boot ext4 /dev/sda2 swap /dev/sda3 root ext4 noticed when reboot system, grub doesn't start immediatly (the screen remains in gray) after few seconds (about 10) without classic bootloader image , without menu. tried install refit boot external devices doesn't seems work. if insert cdrom on drive , reboot, ejected. tried gptsync: sudo gptsync /dev/sda current gpt partition table: no gpt partition table present! current mbr partition table: # start lba end lba type 1 * 2048 585727 83 linux 2 585728 2539519 82 linux swap / solaris 3 2539520 312580095 83 linux status: no gpt partition table, no need sync. how solve? can't boot external device because doesn't start regards.

using cs3 scenario: i've shot 500 wedding images, sorted & edited them in bridge. i'll @ each 1 in camera raw (in bridge) , make needed adjustments. use cr , adjust / sync many similar files can; zipping thru 500 images , save without opening, use image processor process 500 images while sleep. question: is there way process /batch process 500 images and  have them saved later when open them, open smart objects. if needed can take smart object, go camera raw , make adjustments/ refinements. in cr know can check box "open smart object", seems apply if open file (or files) , save them. not practical or feasible select 500 files, open , save them @ 1 time. if save raw file(s) open later, (as in above workflow) not open smart object. i checked on adobe exchange did not find scripts or actions facilitate this. does know if i'm trying possible , how? thanks, jeffn sure, create action opens smart object raw file , saves psd/tiff. batch action "suppress op

kann aktuell meine software nicht mehr öffnen. folgende fehlermeldungen kommen: 1. es wurde versucht auf eine unzulässige adresse zurückzugreifen und dann 2. der angeforderte vorgang konnte nicht ausgeführt werden, weil die anwendung     nicht reagiert. möglicherweise wird sie noch geladen oder wartet auf eine  reaktion     von ihnen.   eine reparatur sowie eine de- und neuinstalltation hat nichts gebracht. kann jemand helfen? lukasderfreche als erstes wuerde ich versuchen die einstellungen zurueck zu setzen.  das geschieht nicht bei de- und neuinstalltation: sofort wenn der editor startet die strg, alt und umschalttasten gleichzeitig druecken und halten bis ein fenster fragt ob sie die einstellungen loeschen wollen. i having lot of problems with  ui freezing in ae cs5.  projects small, and  seems happen randomly.  merely click on a  particular window , particular window "white out" , get  little windows spinning circle.  when click on another  window, whites out.  has happened when tried to  render something.  happens when try save project.   there seems no pattern.  work variety of media, including  sd, hd , image sequences (.png).   when ui freezes, never  unfreezes.  have shut down program , open again.   thanks for  help.     windows 7  professional 64-bit 16 gb ram (11 gb made available ae) dell  precision t7400 workstation dual quad core nvidia geforce  gtx 285 (newest drivers) lots of hard drive space opengl  turned off in preferences enable disk cache turned off is render multiple frames simultanously enabled? footages use? stored? system drive ssd? there other background tasks running? please provide more info , possibly have @ system event viewer , task manager first.   myle
