Extra space between paragraphs: is there a way to delete that?

i importing text word document format in indesign. it' 150 pages of book i'll layout.

i made mistake when writing book word creating space between every paragraph, want rid of.

 

is there way automate indesign? there way automatically delete space betwen paragraphs , add indent instead?

of course! usual answer find-and-replace ^p ^p^p. ^p represents paragraph break character.

 

you should not replace indent. instead, should set first-line indent attribute in paragraph panel. or better still, paragraph style.
