Thread: desktop documents

is there way fix desktop icon , or documents, when use multiple desktop enviroments, icons , documents don't move it?

do mean when switching desktops using virtual desktop switcher located on panel, having differnt desktop layout or using different desktop environments...eg: xfce, fluxbox, gnome?
