Using PHP in a module for banner advertising... - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

first off, hope in right forum. of oh new me. barely know doing. have tried read , see should go, since understand little of , cannot spend entire day @ work on 1 question...

i using php program run banner advertising on our site. program generate php code me place in page. assuming need place php code custom html module banner ads display. have tried placing code in custom html module wysiwyg editor , without. can see if title of module, no banner ads.

how best way me go placing php code in module display our advertising? there extension made specific purpose? there code should use along advertising program generates?

please give me , clear detail can designer , have hack way thought lot of this... if can that. ;)

use extension put custom php scripts in joomla module position:

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
