Thread: Booting help

ok, installed ubuntu 10.4 on external hard drive, install went fine, , works... except when want start computer , boot windows vista... brings me grub rescue... can start external hard drive plugged in , choosing boot vista, getting annoying...

there better fix?

restore windows mbr vista cd, set bios boot first external drive, , second internal hard drive.

done!
