Code Error 5 message in Indesign CS4

i'm totally frustrated adobe indesign past year. have been having problem on intel mac imac past year. top indesign sr technicians have had me on phone hours, doing connect , still problem persist. told solution save file inside internal desktop hard drive have done. working on 40 page book project since tuesday of week. first on lap top computer saving external hard drive connected laptop computer. coming office connecting external drive desktop mac imac running 10.6.3 small os laptop computer. after 8 hours of work see code error 5 files damage , can't open files on desktop computer..

 

as mention problem has been going on , off past year. started 1 of projects on again. save indesign document internal desktop hard drive. 80% done on book came office attempted open indesign file in internal hard drive , bang code error 5. indesign technician had me on phone wednesday hours, said again solution save indesign file inside of computer hard drive. plus indesign cs4 on mac computer using external drives have problem external drives handling various number of high res files. make sure wasn't problem kept high res images on external drive connected desktop computer while resizing each image down size using in book designing in indesign. no links 8x10 inch images 3.x4 in book. resized every image in book in photoshop size scaled image indesign. relink resize image , save indesign indd file inside of internal hard drive.

 

i calling adobe on tuesday raising hell because hurting business badly. can't keep dead line or keep laying out same book on , on again. mess big job client, due me saving 1 indd file everywhere on 6 external drives. updating these drives every time make correction. having these copies , thought copy loading printer 1 of copies had last updated.

yes should have double double check. yet when working on big project months , code error 5 on of saved copies of indesign document on of external hard drives. , god have s indesign technician on phone telling code error 5 problem. click on 1 of book project indesign files , opens up. plus telling technician book project giving code error 5 not working on desk top or lap top , 1 of files open. when crazy , save file every on of external drives , internal hard drive. not work flow anyone, professional photographer should have saving 10 copies of indesign files on these external hard drives , internal hard drive.

i don't know problem is, sure, make observation active storage on external media, usb connected drives, not particularly reliable workflow. don't know newer models or if problems have been fixed in newer os x releases, when daughter upgraded macbook g4 last release of tiger or first release of leopard (can't recall which) lost use of flash drives, , external backup hard drive if memory serves. little searching on web showed common problem.

 

even if os doesn't flaky, cables , connectors moved more prone failure on time don't, network cables connected desktop workstations. reliable results , testing both id files , links should stored locally on internal hard drive.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
