Thread: Postfix - can't send email to 1and1 mail server

hello,

please me investigate need change in postfix/ dns send email 1 one of email server hosted 1and1.

i'm using zenoss monitor system/ network , devices. wanted setup email notification , installed postfix. works fine when use private account on yahoo or hotmail. when specify email account hosted 1and1 receive error 421.

please me resolve issue ?

does "xxxxmyserver" resolve public ip record in public dns, or there public mx record domain points record?

attempting relay through mail server apparently not use authentication , possibly cannot resolve name server identifies as, and/or address (spam trap?). easiest way set if pc has fqdn (hostname.domain) resolves public ip. if have dynamic ip can still have fixed name resolve (web search "dns hosting"). have used no-ip.com many years. many mail servers may still block "direct" mail based on known dynamic ip lists or reverse lookup (if name contains "dial", "ppp", etc.).

possible relay relays valid e-mail addresses isp originating own network.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
