Thread: Networks found but cannot connect

hi guys, i've been ubuntu user on x86 while , i'm running on powerpc first time. have powerbook g4 titanium 15" 400 mhz bought original airport card for. wifi supposed work out of box , do see wireless router show up. however, cannot connect it. i've tried unlocking wep , running openly , still doesn't work. tried running network-manager default , later tried wicd. neither seemed make difference, can't connect. i'd appreciate guys, experts

edit: running ubuntu 10.04 lts

keep in mind i've never touched powerpc...
check sudo lshw -c network more information interface. presume ifconfig -a shows nothing significant...
