Thread: fail to load .dll and 'actctx'

hi,

trying run winbugs (a markov chain monte carlo sampler works r in windows) in wine.

basically, works in wine1.0 though there error messages.

doesn't run in wine1.2 , higher. when trying start winbugs in terminal gives same error messages in wine1.0 in newer wine winbugs crashes.

the fixme line apparently harmless. others kill winbugs on start in wine1.2 , higher.

looked around internet , found out meaning of error message. wine complaining missing dll. searched registry in windows machine , found out dll in question pbrush.dll (print brush, windows has stopped using quite while) scourged internet find copy of pbrush.dll , downloaded , put in .wine/drive_c/windows/system32

tried register

but wine says failed load .dll. insight?


found on internet proposed remedy without manually downloading , activating pbrush.dll. install dcom98 using winetricks. did , winbugs doesn't crash in wine1.3 anymore. however, when tried run it, seems stuck (it works in wine1.0 without dcom98 , error message got is

{0003000a-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} clsid of pbrush seems still stuck , still have register pbrush.dll.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
