textwrapping interferes with textbox on another layer

hello,

 

i have run problem indesign cs4 not understand, , explanation of going on.

 

i have image irregular object shape around wrap text means of 4 mm alpha channel "margin". however, on 1 side of image contents of textbox (let's call textbox t) closer 4mm. coming photoshop world thought put textbox t on layer above image , such ignore 4mm object margin. no, not work, textbox t contents still gets hyphenated in relation 4mm margin.

 

1) layers not work in photoshop?

 

2) how sneak textbox t closer object shape on 1 side?

text wrap behavior preference item. default (which best, in opinion) affect layers, can set affect objects below. reason don't want minimize problems outlining or rasterizing text interacting transparency, text should @ top of stack.

 

if open text frame options selected frame you'll see checkbox "ignore text wrap" allow leave preference as-is , still place text on top of or next wrapped frame, if looking have wrap @ different offsets differnt frames going potential problem. in case you'll need edit wrap path using direct select , pen tools create single wrap path want.

How to update nested ListCollectionViews?

hi troops,   my application has core set of items (e.g. products), gets passed between various view layers. each layer wraps given input list in listcollectionview, , adds own sorting , filtering.   that way might have construct similar to   new listcollectionview(new listcollectionview(new arraycollection()))   but, of course, sorting/filtering added on each level.   now when call itemupdated() on root arraycollection, change not propagate hierarchy of lists.   it seems each wrapping, have call itemupdated(), such as:   ac.itemupdated(product); ac.itemupdated(product);   to make top-most listcollectionview update. single call not trick.   debugging code gave me insight initial collectionevent.update event ac converted move event listcollectionview. second call makes lcv realize item wouldn't move anymore , not convert event, next lcv can item-moved update of localindex.   yes, yes, complicated. feedback welcome, of course for single o...
