i scoured forum not seem find "exact" spot this, post here; please move if in incorrect place:

i have read , re-read forum rules cannot come considered conclusion whether following scenario considered forum "self-promotion" , thereby not allowed:

- come across question posted on forum, exact answer thoroughly presented on own, personal web site, replete many graphics , / or video.

my question then:
is appropriate or allowable me post effect of "... have here ..." or other such wording linked specific spot on web site? say, no "raw" url, using 'url' tool of forum link said text.

what prompted me make inquiry numerous recent posts regarding local wamp packages , use of php 5.3. on site, have detailed, 3 page, guide how install , set workable solution using wamp package mentioned here. have looked creating article in documentation wiki, , may that, of perhaps maligned view doing redundant. plus (and more point), lazy! lol! :)

anyway, directive in reply mwiich (moderator in charge here :) ) adhered :)

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
