404 Errors and problems after migrating to Siteground - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i transferred hosting site godaddy siteground , folks @ siteground helped me transfer files , old database. site 90% working, having 404 errors left , right addon components , plugins. joomlapack inaccessible 404 errors cannot make backup or restore backup before migration. also, "add cart" button has no link , disabling ajax not want because popup , lightbox effects. , lastly, special characters ? , when go insert 1 article nothing white blank box....problem accessing plugins/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/charmap.htm think?

it seems me transferring database has caused these errors components, plugins, etc not being accessed correctly. not happy idea of paying sitegrounds developers $50 hour fix not broken before switched them. please, solutions or ideas wrong appreciated.

could file corruption missing files or database may missing data. can create new database? in new folder place 1 of joomlapack backup files , download kickstart file creators of joomlapack , place in folder backup file. open kickstart.php file browser , start installing joomla using backed data , files. when asks database info use new database info.

this should restore site in new folder on new database, after testing restored site can transfer root folder few modifications configuration.php file. move files in root folder folder till sure no longer need them. before moving files new folder root folder, not copy on files in root folder.
