hey.  there way create reflection in illustrator there in photoshop? creating bar graph, , want graph bars reflect on background surface of graph. also, how there way create sort of glossy surface on surface of object such rectangle (of bar graph).  have dull line/shape drawing needs more depth in general.  think these things help, don't want have deal transferring objects in photoshop, , transferring back, because still have more vector drawing do, don't want continue until know whether or not these things help. surfaces appear glossy abotu usign light , dark tones give impression of lighting. gradients, gradient meshes, , blends can used create transitions dark areas light areas. more abrupt transition, more glossy object can "feel."   as reflections, following link may helpful. it's matter of duplicating, rotating , masking in photoshop. http://www.weichertcreative.com/_tutorials/aiopac/ More discussions in Illustrator adobe

this should blog post, since don't run blog, goes here.. krunner application makes sort of command prompt pop when hit alt+f2 in kde4. it's great getting quick access applications, bookmarks, devices , sorts of other stuff. remember commands enter , suggest them when start typing same letters next time. kind of browsers remember content of forms you've used before. what's been bugging me when enter command typo once, krunner keep suggesting mis-spelled command when begin typing. here's how fix this: open ~/.kde/share/config/krunnerrc , find section says "pastqueries=". queries separated commas. seek mistyped commands , destroy them. save, restart krunner (type "killall krunner&&krunner"), , enjoy. i have framework hosts dynamically loaded flex modules.  imagine dynamically load module , add module element existing spark container.  prior adding loaded module (cast ivisualelement) container, remove children container.  later on, repeat process load different dynamically loaded module.   what finding when hit load button, there noticable flicker container first has elements removed , has new element added.   is there way avoid/remove flicker?  can ask flex double buffer drawing?   neil More discussions in Flex (Read Only) adobe

hi,   i'm busy customising find/change list script try , automate of typesetting we're doing, there's few questions wanted ask before spend while trying things work:   1) possible find "anything something"? eg: if imported word document , applied of paragraph styles (heading a, heading b, ...), possible find other styles either generated word, or applied wrongly, , remove them? or whole new script? (or impossible...)   2) unrelated, if large document imported using section breaks separate chapters footnotes/endnotes restart numbering, there equivalent break in indesign? don't think i've seen (apart going through , setting page-based section breaks on sections), it's worth asking! have large number of endnotes in books, , trying automate setting actively linked cross references them. far, easiest way of doing seems to set them footnotes in word, , use footnotes endnotes script convert them cross-referenced endnotes. there way of doing this?       many t...
