FindChangeByList - yet more questions

hi,

 

i'm busy customising find/change list script try , automate of typesetting we're doing, there's few questions wanted ask before spend while trying things work:

 

1) possible find "anything something"? eg: if imported word document , applied of paragraph styles (heading a, heading b, ...), possible find other styles either generated word, or applied wrongly, , remove them? or whole new script? (or impossible...)

 

2) unrelated, if large document imported using section breaks separate chapters footnotes/endnotes restart numbering, there equivalent break in indesign? don't think i've seen (apart going through , setting page-based section breaks on sections), it's worth asking! have large number of endnotes in books, , trying automate setting actively linked cross references them. far, easiest way of doing seems to set them footnotes in word, , use footnotes endnotes script convert them cross-referenced endnotes. there way of doing this?
