About Updated link in InDesign CS4

the indesign cs4 document had many links. when opened document showed update links. have updated links. once update completed showing update link (yellow triangle symbol) again on link palette.

 

i tried option many times unable clear error. following options have tried reference.

 

1. update link , convert .inx format , reopen same in indesign. showed update link icon (yellow triangle symbol in link palette).

 

2. tried various machine check out, still showing update icon symbol.

 

3. clearing indesign preference, , reopen indesign document, updates link again, still showing update icon (yellow triangle symbol).

 

please me out solve issue.

what link?  e.g. file type....  there possibility being changed between update links , when see yellow triangle?  indesign puts yellow triangle there when detects something, minor has changed on file, unless change it's name, in case indesign reports missing link.

How to update nested ListCollectionViews?

hi troops,   my application has core set of items (e.g. products), gets passed between various view layers. each layer wraps given input list in listcollectionview, , adds own sorting , filtering.   that way might have construct similar to   new listcollectionview(new listcollectionview(new arraycollection()))   but, of course, sorting/filtering added on each level.   now when call itemupdated() on root arraycollection, change not propagate hierarchy of lists.   it seems each wrapping, have call itemupdated(), such as:   ac.itemupdated(product); ac.itemupdated(product);   to make top-most listcollectionview update. single call not trick.   debugging code gave me insight initial collectionevent.update event ac converted move event listcollectionview. second call makes lcv realize item wouldn't move anymore , not convert event, next lcv can item-moved update of localindex.   yes, yes, complicated. feedback welcome, of course for single o...
