how can enable 1024x768 resolution on eeepc 901 scrolling. know can windows xp installed. did little bit of research , believe need install i810 drivers , edit xorg.conf file.

how these steps exactly?

your using right driver already.

need modify /etc/x11/xorg.conf, first need make xorg.conf.

when booting hold shift key menu, select recovery mode, select root shell. type "x -configure" make xorg.conf can copy /etc/x11/xorg.conf.
