adding comments to TemplateDetails causes admin interface er - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all,
i not sure if bug or not, wanted post here in case is. when added html comments ("<!-- -->") first line of templatedetails.xml file, causes joomla administrator interface crash when click edit module. remove comments, module edit works again.

joomla 1.5.14

if need more details, please let me know.

i haven't investigated in depth think joomla's xml parser expects first line of manifest file doctype declaration.

you can put comments anywhere after that.
