Auto-correct file-ending to lower case

first, sorry bad english.

but i'll try explain feature-request.

hope, understandable.

 

i'm intrested in function corrects case of file-endings automatically lower case.

it''s not big deal, enough, if following modules automatically without request:

- renaming on import

- renaming via f2

 

if want let user choice, there imho 2 ways that:

- give drop-down user on renaming-dialogue (both import , "normal" renaming), in user can choose between 3 options:

   - in original file

   - lower case

   - upper case

- give general setting user, in can decide. in option great replace setting dmg-ending-handling (*.dmg or *.dmg) option "case of file-ending", consist 3 options above (original / lower / upper). result of renaming dialogues use definied choice instead of "always lower" requested in first suggestion.

 

maybee, users - not me - interested in function can edit file-endings, *.jpeg, *.jfif, *.jpe correctable *.jpg example.
