Camera Raw won't open Canon5D mkII raw files

use windows xp 32 bit. dual core processor 4g ram.cameraraw  opens canon cr2 files 1dmkiii, not 5d mkii. worked month , stopped. reloaded photoshop cs4 , loaded 5.5 update cameraraw. still not work, have creative suite 4 web premium on computer. delete adobe programs , start over?  if so, do  remove registration computer?

the current version of camera raw photoshop cs4 version 5.7. suggest updating 5.7 windows can found here.
