beginers calculate question

two forms:

 

in form1 text fields have numeric values (costs)

 

in form 2 calculate sum of costs in form1 , produce invoice.

 

how reference form1 fields calculate sum in form2?

are these 2 forms open @ same time? can have 2 forms communicate each other must both open @ same time. complicated , unless code savvy woudl not go down path.

 

it might make more sense calculate costs in form1 , export data form 1 import data form2. have data locally in form2 , can want it.
