session.save_path issue - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i keep having issue installing joomla 1.5.14. stuck on step 2 right after selecting language.

i error:

an error has occurred.:

cookies not appear enabled on browser client. not able install application feature disabled. alternatively, there problem server's session.save_path. if case, please consult hosting provider if don't know how check or fix yourself.

joomla: v1.5.14 stable
os: windows xp pro sp3 (fully date)
environment: wampserver 2.0h
browser: firefox & ie

you have update php.ini. session.save_path needs set directory joomla can write to. it's tmp directory on same level web root won't available browser.
