Thread: How to keep data in ram after program exit.


hello, have 1 gig. of ram on 2 ghz. celeron. so, don't hardcore.

don't see swap being used.

wondering how can tell software stay within ram until space 'really' needed.

xubuntu has great memory management, although stop removing data after program close.

every time open somthing reads disk, not sata 10k raptor, old ata.

help.
