Correcting Rotobrush w/out re-propogation when unfreezing

i've refrained asking question on 1 year of adobe use... humor me here!

 

i've rotobrushed 3 sec clip, separated 4 spans.  made lots of changes original brush-selected edges along way via additional strokes (by strokes mean swipes of green/red rotobrush if correct term).  hit freeze.

 

now several days later, , having added background, see need fix edges of roto'd item in approximately 10% of frames.  rest of frames roto'd i'd them stay.

 

when "unfreeze" repropagates everything, eliminating previous work in refining lines.

 

so best approach go , change rotobrushed edges in select frames, without automatically changing other frames?

 

(just fyi, refine matte options, etc, inadequate fix edges on frames i'm discussing, changing edges of roto effect necessary).

export alpha channel, reimport, refine. alternatively, use rendered snippet matte on original , keep refining that.
