Downloads painfully slow

hi

 

last week went download copies of acrobat standard through adobe store. average download speed 40kb/s.

 

this week i'm downloading adobe cs5 design standard , getting similar speeds. file 3gb , i'm using adsl 2+ connection. average download speed via websites more around 250kb/s + mark. guess i'll leave work computer on overnight it's finished before start tomorrow absurd.

 

can adobe explain painfully slow connection?

gee fantastic, after download took 6 hours complete i've tried opening file this:

 

"a problem occured while extracting archive. please try downloading adobe cs5 design premium again."

 

why not surprised in slightest?
