Screen whiteout on save with Fireworks CS5

whenever save png in fireworks cs5, canvas undergoes whiteout effect – document seems fading out indicate can't edited during save process.

 

this sudden flash distressing when working on documents have predominantly darker hues. it's worst @ night when screen brightest thing around. causes eyes dilate , un-dilate rapidly, kind of disorienting.

 

is there way disable "feature"? it's physiologically upsetting. no other application know of has behavior , other cs5 apps don't it. not helpful ui cue; on contrary, it's quite irritating eyes.

even though document addresses different issue, changing value of asynchronoussave to false prevents screen whiteout when saving png. apparently default false on mac os x, should have change if you're running windows (as am).

 

the document states, "editing document during save operation causes fireworks stop responding," regardless of value of asynchronoussave in preferences file, can't edit document while it's being saved anyway. have no idea intended utility of screen whiteout "feature" supposed be.

 

also, on system, path preferences file different indicated in document:

 

c:\documents , settings\[my windows login]\application data\adobe\fireworks cs5\en_gb\fireworks cs5 preferences.txt

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
