Problems exproting extemely wide video

hello!

 

i've got client has built video wall consisting of 18 hd ready monitors in row, , they've asked me create short animations run on it.

 

the animations need rather large 24588px x 768px, not problem create, when come export them, of codecs don’t seem support such large frame size.

 

i can export uncompressed video, gives me 13gb files big transport easily, , cinepak seems work, client can’t seem run on system.

 

they’ve asked divx files, ae crashes when try export that.

 

i’ve tried re-encoding uncompressed video in few other programs (vlc, pro-coder, super , handbrake) none of them seem able handle such big files.

 

the other formats found work microsoft video 1 , microsoft rle, both of available in “thousands of colours” or 256 colours.

 

i’m running after effects cs3 on 32bit system.

 

has ever found way of encoding such large file divx?

 

would using newer version of ae on 64bit system help?

 

in fact, if has suggestions or observations @ all, gratefully received!

you need check folks doing playback. can't imagine system playback single stream large. have ever driven 4 monitors , did single hd h264 video scaled through playback system 4 monitors.

 

each multiple monitor playback system uses different system. many sync multiple sources through multiple display cards or adaptors. unless know exact specs it's not idea send client ask for. i'd take guess want somewhere between 4 , 9 files rather 1 big one.

 

it's same thing when you're going output film recorder. each service bureau has own specifications.
