Thread: starcraft on wine

i'll try , post many specifics can remember @ work don't have info , rest out when home.

tried run starcraft (the first not starcradt 2 beta) on wine.

note: wine installed wine in ubuntus repos

mounted iso, added mount path winecfg , installed software.

after installing software tried run application , recieved error said

code:
error: not enough memory
i have 4gb of memory , 10gb of open swap, conky shows no other large daemons or programs running @ time eat memory.

uninstalled wine via

code:
#> aptitude pruge wine
after removed downloaded wine source , compilied it, after ran config noticed few warnings fixed ldap, cups, opengl, etc etc , installed of thoes apt-get or source

after resolved warnings installed wine sucessfully , got same error.

ran across thread had same problem diffrent application , got working by

code:
#> apt-get install wine-2.1
(note: can't remember version off hand)

uninstalled wine , reinstalled via command above , still had no sucess.

i'm running dell intel 4gb of ram, 250gb hdd, , drivers installed linux native repos.

ideas?

your commands have typos in them, it's "purge" , "wine-1.2"

video card have?

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
