Suggestions to Manage Conference Session Submissions - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm on steering committee of small (400 attendees) professional conference. i've got bones of site (http://www.aateconference.com). we're start accepting session proposals. before go , reinvent wheel, thought i'd ask suggestions of existing module manage session proposals. need accept customization of dozen or session app fields (title, type of session, description, etc.) , allow selection committee make notes (not viewable applicant). accepted sessions can flagged inclusion in program.

ideally, i'd able port info in session apps directly schedule manager generate calendar (i'm still evaluating event calendar use, i'm leaning towards 1 of venue-based versions data can accessed both time grid , room grid). had in head not duplicate data, may better practice copy on accepted sessions once application process complete.

i have searched in extensions, may using wrong terms, because i'm coming nothing. i'd appreciate thoughts on extensions used manage session applications.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
