Thread: Brad Spengler and the Linux kernel
what general opinion on article esecurityplanet?
it's not matter of opinion. it's true public exploits necessary in order spur fixes. it's true making memory access less predictable make more difficult follow exploits arbitrary code executions.
of course, it's still kind of abstract part. nobody's using exploits of nature in actual crime far knows. there isn't value in it. don't think makes argument linux secure, either. misconception if held it.
it's point relying on access controls, i'm not familiar exploits supposedly go around them. luckily not every exploit works remotely.
