once again have wonderful free books give away prentice hall, rather spanky-awesome publishers of the official ubuntu book mako, matthew helmke , corey burger, , brand new official ubuntu server book our friend , yours, kyle rankin , mako. these books commissioned debra williams-cauley has been awesome getting them on shelves, , sidekick 1 heather fox have been chatting see if can score free copies our rather fantastic ubuntu loco teams. fortunately, heather has been able make magic happen.
prentice hall happy send each , every approved loco team 1 free copy of the official ubuntu book , 1 free copy of the official ubuntu server book. entirely clear: 1 copy of each book per team. great addition each team’s library of ubuntu books!
keep simple possible, can request books following these steps:

- the team contact shown on our loco team list (and team contact) should send email usergroups @ informit dot com , include following details:
- your full name.
- which team from.
- your full address (including zip/postal code, region , country).
- your phone number, including country , area code.
- heather process application , let know if approved.
- if approved, books in post.
if have questions or queries, don’t contact me or canonical, contact heather fox @ heather dot fox @ pearson dot com.
- only approved teams eligible free copies of books.
- only team contact each team (shown on this page) can make request book.
- there limit of 1 copy of each book per approved team.
- prentice hall cover postage, not import tax or other shipping fees.
- when have books, them. recommend share them between members of team. loco leaders: please don’t hog them yourselves!
- the deadline getting requests in sun august 15, 2010.
also, teams not approved or yet approved, can still score rather nice 35% discount on books registering loco prentice hall user groups program.
