Uninstalling Joomla? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

how uninstall joomla, wanna host own website, , joomla cms has been uploaded server admin, how go deleting & uninstalling it?

joomla bunch of files, connecting db. removing joomla files , dropping db thing need do.

not sure mean 'hosting own site', if want install else joomla, delete joomla files (wherever site installed, in root or in folder in root).
go phpmyadmin, find db used joomla site , drop db. make sure it's right db though.
