Conflict with Acrobat 9 Pro Today

as of morning neither of our (fully updated) 2 copies of 9 pro handle type of filing saving after joining files or inserting pages, etc.  crash notify microsoft message  doesn't seem effect 9 standard.

 

i assume upgrade on weekend caused conflict wanted see if else had same issue.  grady

i have experienced similar situation. upgraded adobe pro 9.3.2 9.3.3 july 2nd. when launch pdf via xfdf (passes field tags & data along print parameters) these 2 errors:

 

expected dict object

 

i click ok , fatal error

 

acrobat failed send dde command (dynamic data exchange)

 

i click ok , notify microsoft error appears followed adobe closing.

 

this happens when print parameter contains "silent" print mode (print without viewing)

 

one of our clients had upgraded workstations adobe reader 9.3.2 9.3.3 , every machine had error. rolled adobe reader 9.3.2 , problem went away.

 

i submitted bug report adobe have received no response. posted same problem in acrobat scripting forum , had many people read post no 1 replied.

 

i've had experience using adobe hope work out our clients not use long this.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
