Thread: Is it possible to get wireless working?
hey all, wireless working on windows , needs drivers ubuntu. problem is, don't know driver, it, or how apply it. there no other way internet computer in question, , information know far. acer aspire 3680, says zr1 on back. wired lan port broken physically. running 10.04 lts. don't know next step, me out?

acer uses invilink 802.11b/g wireless card. based on atheros chip set.
if type lspci within terminal, (you bring terminal menu bar. applications-->accessories-->terminal,) see text output. scroll down bottom , reference network controller. there should 1 ethernet card , 1 wireless card. wireless entry identify card. if ubuntu disk not have driver available, may have find , download driver within windows before can install it. luck.
