Flash 10.1 installs in Vista and XP but will not play some content

i started morning thinking problem experiencing flash player 10.1 version of problem discussed in forum  under "flash 10.1 not working in user account."  recognize different problem.

 

first, fp 10.1 (specifically v. 10.1.53.64) installs fine either in vista ultimate 64 (ie active-x or firefox add-in--i use , work in administrator account) or xp (multiboot machine).  can confirm installation @ http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html , flvs @ http://www.acpmh.unimelb.edu.au/resources/resources-education.html play no problem.

 

some content, however, not play.  need badly @ http://library.creativecow.net/articles/hansen_jaysen/growing/video-tutorial.php , hangs , tells me need flash player--both in ie , ff.  have repeatedly uninstalled fp, rebooted, , reinstalled doesn't change anything.  worse still, since use adobe connect lot, connect hangs when try enter meeting.  same thing occurs on laptop runs vista 64 home.

 

i have tried can think of , searched every strategy seems promising have found nothing on problem.  surely can't person experiencing this!. have idea going on , how deal problem?

hi, use ie , go tools, manage add ons. click on toolbars & extensions , down @ lower left show add ons. shockwave flash object , make sure enabled.

 

then using ff(firefox) find swf vs 10.1.53.64 plug-in , make sure enabled.

 

i went creativecow site , saw notice of needing flash player view videos, since know have fp, ignored it. played "after effects cs5 rotobrush" , sound garbled. watched "the pen tool", clear , no problem one.

 

not familiar adobe connect, couldn't check there.

 

if 2 above add ons enabled, else causing problem, assuming flash player files installed correctly.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
