what can be removed to make a "barebones" due?

my first thought when looked @ due was: "wow, that's lot of components". well, first thought looked similar mega, that's not point.
the point is, want make own version of this, can removed? don't need auto-power selector (that chooses between usb , power jack),i don't need 5v regulator, don't need 2nd usb port , it's little programming chip (maybe not first one), need chip needs run @ full speed, , how heck i'm going code on there (i'm guessing won't work icsp programmer or arduino icsp, , need bootloader ftdi). i'm looking more ram , lot more speed, , seems way go.
besides removing everything, still need code there, of course. kind of programmer needed?
also, hear sd cards have second way of communicating faster spi. due ever support in libary? , ethernet pins , library?

i looking answers both of these questions.

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
