PNG Transparency Fix for IE6
hope somone can this. have png image transparancy sit on gradient background, :
http://www.hpwebdesign.co.uk/mklink/index102.shtml
the little graphics next campaign metrics ok, main header image sit in light blue gradient , hand graphic etc not - little areas around curved corners should transparent not (in ie6).
i assume because background image <div> being referenced in css, rather dropped page directly.
so guess question can overcome?
thanks.
ie 6 doesn't support transparent pngs natively. either have resort javascript hacks force ie 6 render correctly (although these not work repeated background images in css), use lowest common denominator image format (gif), or use conditional commenting give ie 6 it's own stylesheet it's own image other browsers see.
or not worry ie 6 sees long site content accessible , usable.
