hey there! beeeginnner both linux , ubuntu...i finding out uses alot of code...that cool, know none of @ all...

here issue. can assist.

machine is:

os: ubuntu 10.04 *i love it!!*

intel d945gcl mobo

intel e1400 2.0 dual core

512 ddr2

monitor: gateway fpd1765

trying monitor run in 1280x1024, highest resolution available 1024 x 768, because ubuntu not recognize monitor... have read how people , make work system, still stumped terminology , processes above me. again if has magic answer, love share it....thank you!

what graphics card?

if you're not sure, type terminal:
