Thread: Can't install Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit

dear all,
i'm trying install ubuntu 10.04 (32 bit)
on laptop (where installed amd64 version of ubuntu 10.04
i've decided remove because of small issues).
i've tried using installation cd (the same i've used install
on desktop, know working copy),
@ boot, although select boot cd, live version doesn't
start , ubuntu 64 run usual.
i've tried create startup diskon usb pen,
there live version seems start busybox 1.3 loaded
, there error initfrm saying no operating system
can found.
advice on how solve situation?
mean lot me install 32 bit version.
i've been told download alternate edition, i'm still
downloading it, in meanwhile if you've other advice it's really
appreciated!
cheers, 'luca
