Thread: Wireless adapter not working after 10.4 upgrade


hi. upgraded ubuntu 10.4 on dell inspiron 6400 yesterday (32-bit). running great, when turned on today wireless adapter no longer working , hardware switch doesn't anything. it's working in windows fine can't hardware.

if me grateful. i've tried ubuntu several times before there 1 small issue makes me go windows. love 10.4 hope can working can stay on ubuntu!

found solution, i'm posting solution here in case else has same problem.

it's caused laptop not going sleep properly. fix it, make sure values in following 2 files set true:

/etc/networkmanager/nm-system-settings.conf
