Thread: GRUB RESCUE prompt

hi,

installed 'ubuntu inside windows'...
installed successfully...
booted ubuntu , updated same using 'update manager'...
during 'installation' stage, asked me whether want 'update grub' selected 'yes'...
after installation, computer got restarted , after restarting, instead of showing boot menu(the menu allows me select whether want boot windows or ubuntu), there prompt like, 'grub rescue>'...
stuck here...
try commands , 'ls' seems work(after typing 'ls' shows bootable partitions 'fd0', 'hd0')...

please fix problem... don't know how else proceed after prompt...

just clarify, running ubuntu app inside windows (like this) or did use called wubi?

also, version of windows running?
