Afraid of sh404SEF - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have reading lot sh404sef. have read & bad things. is best in class (and many people recomends it) , bad has problems install , putting work.
i host in site5.com , works great.
i first install new extension in test site.
i appreciate if advise me , how it.
should go ahead , install or forget , install sef 404 extension ?

well concerned sh404sef decided try on first attempt @ joomla site went ahead , installed it, re-named htaccess file, turned on including mod re-writes , it's never given me ounce of trouble, it's supposed to, has great documentation (even first timer me ;) ).

another thing re-writes article title h1 tag (placing , should seo). re-writes other article titles may on same page (say in blog layout) h2 tags , other great features too....

so other minor mods removing h1 reference line out of original template index.php (that in original version makes h1 tag site name hidden behind logo - yukky), , after few weeks i'm appearing in search results...

so i'm stoked far , i'm glad took plunge.

cf_sql_integer vs cf_sql_bigint vs cf_sql_int??

i have id (primary key) set bigint in sql server. have query following: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" value="#url.id#"> i got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> i still got invalid data type it. tried: where whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_int" value="#url.id#"> and worked. the weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/coldfusion/5.0/cfml_reference/tags79.htm can explain me. > whateverid = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_bigint" value="#url.id#"> what value of #url.id#? had no problems either using cf8. > weird thing cf_sql_int not listed being accepted: iirc, when pass in invalid sql type cf uses default: cf_sql_char, accepts anything. ms sql implicit convert() right type , why works.
